Paul Anthony "Mugsy" Furlong

Paul Anthony “Mugsy” Furlong, age 64, died peacefully on January 5th 2020 due to complications from kidney disease. He was surrounded by his loving family and friends. He was born on June 13th, 1955 to Thomas and Millie Furlong as the second of six children. Paul was a resident of Glenolden and attended Our Lady of Fatima grade school and Cardinal O’Hara High School class of ‘73. Paul went on to graduate from RETS Electronic School and worked for CMI Printing. Paul enjoyed playing cards, going to the movies, going to his favorite restaurants, and attending family gatherings. His favorite movies were notably Goodfellas and Shawshank Redemption. He was an avid sports fan and his favorite team was his beloved Minnesota Vikings. Paul was known for his great sense of humor and enjoying a good time. He will be dearly missed by his parents, Thomas and Millie Furlong, his five siblings Thomas F. Furlong, Jr., Diane Reed, Lori (Joe) Chambers, Marie (John) Callahan, Jennifer McCullough and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Mass of Christian burial and interment were held privately on January 11th. Donations can be made in Paul’s name to Belvedere Resident Council Fund at 2507 Chestnut Street Chester, PA 19013.
