Isabelle "Snookie" (Mease) Poole

Isabelle “Snookie” Poole went to be with her Lord peacefully in her sleep on the early morning of June 22, 2019. She lived an admirable life of 98 years to the very end full of energy, laughter and love. Isabelle was born to parents Frank and Helen Mease, she was the youngest of seven children having four sisters and two brothers. She lived most of her life between Pennsylvania and New Jersey but traveled throughout the country with her husband who served in the army during World War II. She will always be remembered for the years she spent working in Casa Mano’s kitchen as well as running her own beauty shop, Isabelle’s Beauty Salon in Havertown. There was no job that Isabelle could not do, she was a “Jill of all trades” with many stories to share. She is joining many loved ones who have gone before her including her husband Edwin G. Poole Sr, her eldest son Edwin G. Poole Jr “Big Ed”, her beloved daughter Virginia “Ginny” Traudt, her grandson Edwin G. Poole III “Little Ed”, and her six brothers and sisters. She leaves behind son Dennis (Maureen) Poole, daughter-in-law Sharon “Sherri” Poole, son-in-law Terry Traudt, grandchildren Debbie (Bill) Patterson, Jim (Claudine) Poole, Dianna (Rick) Hellick, Joann (Mike) Andreas, Danny (Carol) Poole, Michael (Lisa) Traudt, Michelle Traudt, Meghan Poole, Katelyn (Robert) Baybutt, Dennis Poole, Kelly (Stephen) Sniezevage, Shannon Poole, Kevin Poole, 21 great-grandchildren, 10 great-great-grandchildren, and many others that will always remember their Aunt Snookie. We invite you to say goodbye and celebrate her wonderful life. We could not have asked for more from God for Isabelle.

Relatives and friends are invited to her Viewing Friday, June 28, 2019 9:00 AM Holy Cross Church, 651 East Springfield Road, Springfield, PA 19064 and Her Funeral Mass 10:30 AM in the Church. Interment following Mass Arlington Cemetery, Drexel Hill, PA. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the charity of your choice.
