Genevieve C. Rizzo

Genevieve Carmela Rizzo, formally of Drexel Hill, PA on June 15, 2019. Beloved Sister of Louis “Lou” (Anne), Frank (Josie) and Elizabeth “Betty” (nee: Rizzo). Predeceased by her parents, Francis “Frank” and Frances and her siblings Anthony, Carmela, James, Mary, Hilda, Rita and Amedeo. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and family too numerous to mention. Genevieve was a former Dominican Order Sister, who worked as a Nutritionist for their retreat House in Elkins Park, PA for 10 years. After leaving the convent she became an Administrator with Social Security. She enjoyed reading and going to the movies. She was an accomplished baker who made many cakes for family celebrations.

Relatives and friends are invited to her Viewing Thursday, June 20th 7:00 P.M. O’Leary Funeral Home, 640 E. Springfield Rd. Springfield, PA 19064 and Friday 9:00 A.M. Sacred Heart Church, 316 E. Broadway Ave., Clifton Heights, PA 19018 and to her Funeral Mass Friday 10:00 A.M. in the Church. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery.
